We are proud to introduce our newest offering at MTS Power Products: A Commercial Generator Controllers system called the GCU 4K Commercial Generator Controllers.

Our new GCU 4K Commercial Generator Controllers can be utilized for all types of Gensets available today. If you have a J1939 electron engine or a non-electronic control you can still use Commercial Generator Controllers. The only step necessary to utilize this innovative technology is a simple free download of the app General Call that is available for smartphones and tablets. Once this is done you can connect the control module to the network and access the parameters and status of your Genset over the internet in real-time.

The three different connection methods for our Commercial Generator Controllers are listed below here:

Wi-Fi: Available through any active Wi-Fi connection.
Ethernet Cable: Available with a dynamic IP network connection.
Mobile Router: The installation of a mobile router on the Genset is necessary if neither of the previous two options is available.

During the event of a low fuel condition or over-heating / over temperature the MCPHERSON CONTROLS immediately sends a push notification to your mobile device and allows you to track the status of your Genset anytime, anywhere. In the past, there was always concern over whether a generator set would properly operate during major storm systems or power outages. This would be especially alarming if you had to manually check on the status during these events. Now, finally, there is an ideal, practical solution for managing any of these situations.

The GCU 4K Commercial Generator Controllers will also alert you if your Genset position is even slightly shifted. Additionally, our MCPHERSON CONTROLS provide a precise GPS location of any Gensets connected to it and can display multiple units simultaneously. There are different colors that indicate the status of each individual Genset and the user can touch a Genset icon through the mobile app to access that exact Genset for control or monitoring.

Starting your Genset remotely is also easy. By opening up the General Call app and pressing manual the MCPHERSON CONTROLS broadcasts an engine start warning before you crank it as part of the start procedure. The Commercial Generator Controllers also performs on-site starts and provides a variety of different display streams like an event log and graphic displays for current and voltage levels. Each of the meters on the screens can also be customized and changed.
